| Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council ( Connect Centre) £475k |
We are currently undertaking a large renovation and refurbishment for Solihull MBC within a shopping centre to create a “CONNECT” facility for the local community.
In essence, our brief was to turn two vacant retail shop premises into one large area, including storage and mess facilities for the staff within the basement area.
The scope of works included the total strip out of the two retail units, including extensive blockwork.
We were responsible in this instance for the design & build of the mechanical & electrical services via our ISO9001 vetted & regularly used sub-contractors.
One of the primary features of this project is a bespoke 7-metre long beech veneer counter, divided into separate booths so that staff can interact with the customers.
The completed project reconfigures the two ground floor and basement areas into one demise for the “CONNECT” facility that comprises public space and staff office facilities. |
